I’m sure most of us are looking forward to resuming at least some of our normal habits, routines, and pleasures! I’ve always been committed to our health and safety, and now I’m doubling down with additional sanitation and massage modifications much of which is now mandated by federal, state, and county requirements.

So, what might this look like? Please bring your face covering! We will both need to wear face coverings for your entire session. (Face coverings with valves are not adequate.) And, expect your temperature to be checked before entering the office! You will find lots of hand sanitizer and hand washing going on in the office. Your appointment time may have changed a little, and in addition, I am moving all health disclosures and paperwork online. You will need to update these before your next session.

Some Important Notes:

• If you are sick or have recently been sick for any reason, or if you have a temperature above 100 degrees, or been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, we will need to reschedule your session. There is no charge to cancel or reschedule your appointment for this situation, even if it’s at the last minute.
  
  
• If you are at risk of severe complications, I ask that you discuss receiving massages with your primary care physician before your appointment. All of us are at risk of the virus; some of us are at a higher risk of serious consequences if we should get it.
  
  
• When you arrive in the parking lot, please text or call me, 619-772-0456, and we can do a brief check-in while you’re outside the office and a non contact temperature check at the door.
  
  
• I have created a COVID-19 & Massage section on my website for your reference. It has all this information and additional details regarding sanitation and session modifications.

Some of you may be ready to receive massage sessions right away. Others may want to wait a while longer. All of that is perfect! You have to be on your own timeline, and I completely understand and honor that. Call me if you have any concerns or questions. I’m here for you when the time is right for you!
